Major ChatGPT outage: What is known

Users from various countries have reported widespread outages in ChatGPT by OpenAI. Reports began on May 19 around 3:30 PM Kyiv time and peaked within an hour, says the Downdetector service.
Users are experiencing difficulties while trying to access the chatbot, loading their conversation history, or receiving responses. The outage has affected both the free and paid versions of ChatGPT.
According to Downdetector, which collects real-time reports, a sharp rise in complaints has been recorded from North America, Europe, and some regions of Asia.
So far, the cause of the outage has not been disclosed, and the time required for service to be restored has not been estimated.
Users are advised to monitor updates on OpenAI's status page or the company’s official social media channels.
