Lukashenko’s office states that Trump agreed to visit Minsk at the President’s invitation

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited US President Donald Trump to visit Minsk during their conversation, according to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Lukashenko’s office stated that he discussed with Trump issues on the bilateral agenda, regional matters, and the situation in "hot spots," including Ukraine.
"An agreement was reached to continue contacts. The President of Belarus invited Donald Trump and his family to Minsk, and the invitation was accepted," the press service added.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump reported that he had a "very good" phone call with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the American leader, they discussed the release of another 1,300 prisoners in Belarus.
Trump also added that he is "looking forward to meeting Lukashenko in the future."
This call took place just a few hours before Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
