On the morning of September 17th, explosions were heard in Odesa during an air raid alert, informs Suspilne.

The media reported one explosion at around 06:07. A state of air alert has been announced in the city and the region, and the Air Force has warned of the danger of missile strikes and kamikaze drones.

"Residents of the Odesa region, there is still a missile threat to our region. Please take shelter!" wrote the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

The spokesperson of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Bratchuk, reported that air defense forces are active in the city.

Night attack on September 17

During the night of September 17th, the Russians once again attacked Ukrainian territory. They launched missiles from the Caspian Sea and drones from the Black Sea side. At around 4:50, an air raid alert was announced in Kyiv, and later across the entire territory of Ukraine.

Enemy missiles initially headed toward Kremenchuk and Uman, but then changed course toward the Odesa region.
