Today, July 7, Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Ilsky Oil Refinery named after A.A. Shamar. It is located in Russia's Krasnodar region, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing sources.

According to the sources, the attack hit one of the facility's tech workshops.

The strike caused a fire and halted part of the production processes.

Local Russian media also confirm the fact of the attack and report explosions recorded on the refinery's territory.

The Ilsky Oil Refinery named after A.A. Shamar is an oil processing enterprise located in the Krasnodar region and is among the leading oil refining companies of the Russian Southern Federal District.

The facility handles the receipt, storage, and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, as well as the shipment of finished products by road and rail transport.

This refinery is part of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state, directly involved in waging aggressive war against Ukraine.

Earlier, on the evening of June 26, strike drones of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence hit in Bryansk the storage depots of missile fuel and lubricants belonging to the 1061st Material and Technical Support Center of the Russian Armed Forces. After four explosions, a fire broke out at the oil depot.

Sources speaking to RBC-Ukraine said the cause of the explosion and fire was an attack by the Bober, Baklan, and Obrii Ukrainian drones.
