Latvia's assistance to Ukraine

Latvia has been providing support to Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.

The country provides both military and humanitarian assistance, supplying weapons, equipment, and humanitarian aid. Latvia also actively supports sanctions against Russia and political initiatives in the international arena.

In September, Latvia approved the allocation of €5 million to support Ukraine through the NATO and US PURL initiative, aimed at ensuring the country's security and strengthening its defense capabilities in the face of Russian aggression.

Earlier, Latvia transferred vehicles, as well as a large batch of FPV drones and Mavic series drones, to the Defense Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
