Kyiv hit hard: Nearly 30 injured, ambulances torched and film studio damaged

Rescuers reported nine dead and 27 injured in the capital after the missile attack carried out by Russia overnight, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Nine people died, and another 23 were injured as a result of the Russian ballistic attack," emergency officials reported.
Regarding the consequences of the shelling of Kyiv, fires and destruction occurred in 5 districts of the capital.
Solomianskyi district
In the Solomianskyi district, two people were killed and 8 injured, including two children. At one location, there was partial destruction and a fire in a multi-story residential building; at another, cars were burning in a parking lot.
Three people were hospitalized, rescuers evacuated 35 people from the upper floors, and the fire was extinguished.
Darnytskyi district
Here, a fire and destruction occurred in an administrative building and a non-residential building. At another address, cars were burning, and houses were damaged.
"Seven people were killed, and another 14 were injured, including 2 children. Rescuers extinguished the fires. Additionally, a crater was found on open ground in one of the squares. Along one street, the roadside is burning in several areas," the State Emergency Service reported.
Shevchenkivskyi district
In this district of Kyiv, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, and ambulances caught fire after the shelling. The fire was extinguished, and 1 injured person was found at one location. A fire also broke out on the territory of a film studio: it has been contained.
Dniprovskyi and Pecherskyi districts
In the Dniprovskyi district, shelling damaged a store, and in the Pecherskyi district, four private residential buildings and outbuildings were also damaged.

On the night of August 1, Russian forces attacked Kyiv and the region with ballistic missiles.
In the capital, the consequences were recorded in the Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts. In some places, the power went out.
Regarding the region, damage to houses was recorded, and casualties were also reported.
