In Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, debris has caused a fire on the 1st and 2nd floors of a 25-story residential building, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

“In the Solomianskyi district, debris has caused a fire on the 1st and 2nd floors of a 25-story residential building. Emergency services are on their way. Stay in shelters!” Klitschko wrote.

Earlier, the mayor had reported a call for medical assistance in the Solomianskyi district.

“The brigade is on its way,” he wrote.

Damage to a residential building and cars in the Solomianskyi district was also reported by Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.

Attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported explosions in Kyiv amid a ballistic missile attack.

Around 23:00 Kyiv time, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and the Kyiv region due to the threat of drone attacks.

Before this, alerts had sounded in eastern, southern, northern, and parts of central Ukraine.

Amid the drone threat, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Vladyslav Haivanenko reported explosions in Dnipro. Local communities also reported hearing new explosions in Kharkiv.
