The future summit of the European Union will not be easy. The intensity of diplomacy today is at the level of the beginning of a full-scale war, says Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, during a telethon.

"The situation is not simple. The summit will not be easy. There will be many discussions not only regarding the Ukrainian issue. Negotiations will continue until the last minute, and we will work until the last minute. The intensity of diplomacy, as it is now, has not been seen since the beginning of the full-scale invasion," the minister stated.

Kuleba added that the most creative solutions and the most daring combinations are currently being played out at all levels to ensure the adoption of necessary decisions for Ukraine.

European Union Summit On December 14 and 15, the summit of the leaders of the European Union countries will take place. During the meeting, decisions are expected regarding the prospects of integration of Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia into the EU. Hungary, as expected, will block anything related to supporting our country.

On November 8, the European Commission recommended to the EU Council to start negotiations with Ukraine on accession. As noted by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, our country has implemented 90% of the reforms expected by the EU.

In particular, on December 11, Dmytro Kuleba held negotiations with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Szijjarto.
