Visit of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to Türkiye focusing on discussions about the ongoing war in Ukraine is expected in February, according to the assistant to the Russian dictator on international affairs, Yuriy Ushakov.
"Yes, the visit is being prepared," said the dictator's assistant in response to questions about Putin's plans to visit Türkiye in February.
He further indicated that the war in Ukraine would be one of the main topics of the negotiations.
Backstory
The dictator's visit to Türkiye in February was also confirmed by a diplomatic source in Ankara, as reported by RIA News. However, it is asserted that the situation depends on the schedules of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Putin.
The newspaper Türkiye had previously reported that the dictator would arrive for the visit on February 12.
"This date (February 12 - ed.) is probable, but it is not final as negotiations are ongoing," said a source from the propagandist news.
