75-year-old King of Great Britain Charles III, who is battling cancer, addressed the British people. The monarch shared that he has received numerous messages, according to the Buckingham Palace website.

"I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days. As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement," the statement by Charles III, published by Buckingham Palace, mentions.
The King noted that his diagnosis has helped him learn more about the work of organizations supporting cancer patients in the UK. His Majesty was impressed by the dedication of these individuals.
It's worth noting that in January, news emerged not only about the King's illness but also about the hospitalization of Kate Middleton. The wife of Prince William underwent surgery in the abdominal cavity.
