After the meeting with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Beijing, Kim Jong Un’s team erased all traces of the North Korean leader’s stay, according to Reuters.

Thus, after the negotiations of Kim Jong Un with Putin, DPRK employees carefully removed all items that Kim had touched.

Such measures, as the media outlet writes, are part of a strict security protocol aimed at preventing the leakage of information about the health condition of the North Korean leader.

In a video published by Kremlin reporter Oleksandr Yunashov, it is visible how two Kim employees clean the room in the capital of China after more than a two-hour meeting with Putin.

They wiped the backrest and armrests of the chair, the coffee table nearby, and the glass which Kim used they immediately removed.

Despite the warm farewells between Kim and Putin after the official part of the negotiations, the North Korean delegation remained faithful to the usual protocol – destroyed all possible "traces" of the stay of their leader.

According to the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, with reference to the intelligence of South Korea and Japan, Kim also took his own toilet to Beijing on his famous green train to avoid the possibility of analysis of his biological samples.

Reuters writes that similar measures North Korea has been applying for many years. Back in 2019 after the summit with Donald Trump in Hanoi Kim’s guards for hours blocked and cleaned his hotel room, including removing the mattress.

In 2018, during a meeting with then-President Moon Jae-in of South Korea, North Korean security personnel disinfected the chair and table before Kim sat.

Analogous procedures were also recorded before his summit with Putin in 2023, when the guards even scanned the chair with a metal detector.

Visit of Kim Jong Un to China

Previously, in Beijing, a military parade was held, the main event of which became the joint appearance of the leader of China, Xi Jinping, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the head of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un. For the first time, all three appeared before the public together.

In China, North Korea confirmed its readiness to provide military support to Russia if such a need arises.

It is interesting that Kim Jong Un reached Beijing on a special armored train, which traditionally has been used by North Korean leaders for many decades.
