Kim Jong Un directs AI boost for North Korean drone arsenal

In North Korea, weapons drone tests were conducted under the leadership of the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, according to the website of the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA).
It is reported that the North Korean leader reviewed the characteristics and combat use of various unmanned systems.
Specifically, Kim examined strategic and tactical reconnaissance UAVs, as well as multipurpose drones developed and produced at research institutes and enterprises within the Unmanned Aeronautical Technology Complex.
In particular, the leader expressed approval of the test results of North Korea’s tactical unmanned attack aircraft Kumson and the unmanned strategic reconnaissance aircraft.
Following the visit, Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the tests.
He ordered the enhancement of drone capabilities using artificial intelligence and called their operational capacity a top-priority task for the modernization of the DPRK Armed Forces.

Earlier, Kim Jong Un stated that North Korea will never give up its nuclear weapons. He condemned US proposals for denuclearization.
