Khomutynnik's team announces legal action over media attack

The press service of businessman and Cascade Investment Fund owner Vitaliy Khomutynnik stated that in recent months, some media publications targeting the entrepreneur have appeared, which are manipulative and show signs of being commissioned.
"The authors of materials published by the online media outlet StopCor and its YouTube channel StopCor have been actively using false and unverified selective information, distorting facts, and employing elements of blackmail, as well as making baseless accusations involving non-existent or fabricated criminal cases on tax evasion, money laundering, and financing of separatism,” the statement reads.
The businessman’s team believes the aim of such articles and videos is to damage Vitaliy Khomutynnik's business reputation and discredit him on behalf of competitors.
“As a result, an official complaint has been prepared and filed with the court to defend the entrepreneur's honor and business reputation,” the press service added.
As reported earlier, Khomutynnik's Cascade Investment Fund previously owned a 6.59% stake in the agroholding.
