Kellogg says possible Zelenskyy-Trump-Putin meeting could take place in Geneva

The United States has received a list of terms for peace from Ukraine and is now waiting for a corresponding memorandum from Russia, US president's special envoy Keith Kellogg said on Fox Business.
According to Kellogg, it is necessary to continue to put pressure on the Russians to force them to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine. He recalled that during US President Donald Trump's talk with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, the Russians said they were going to prepare a memorandum.
The United States has already received the document from the Ukrainian side and is waiting for it from the Russian side in order to "put it together." As soon as this happens, there will be another meeting on peace talks. Perhaps, in Geneva.
“We would like to have it in Vatican, but the Russians did not want to go there. So, Geneva may be the next stop where all three major leaders will meet - President Putin, President Zelenskyy and President Trump and hammer this thing out, and sign some kind of document to end this war,” Kellogg said.
Russia-Ukraine talks in Türkiye
On May 16, direct talks were held between representatives of Ukraine and Russia for the first time in several years. Delegations from both countries met in Türkiye. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also arrived in the country, hoping for a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin, but he ignored the invitation to dialogue.
The Ukrainian delegation at the talks was headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, while the Russian delegation was headed by Putin's aide Vladimir Medinsky.
On May 19, after a talk with American leader Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin said that it was necessary to “simply identify the most effective ways to move towards peace.”
Immediately afterward, Putin said that Russia was ready to work with Ukraine on a memorandum for a possible future peace treaty.
