US Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg met with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak. The talks were positive, stated Kellogg on X.

"Positive talks in London with Andriy Yermak. It's time to move forward on President Trump's Ukraine-Russia war directive: stop the killing, achieve peace, and put America First," he wrote.

Talks in London

Peace talks on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine took place today, April 23, in London. Officials from Ukraine, France, the UK, Germany, and the United States participated in the dialogue.

Initially, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff were expected to represent the United States. However, on April 22, it became known that they declined to travel to London. As a result, only Special Envoy Keith Kellogg represented the US.

Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andriy Yermak has already shared details of his meeting with Kellogg.

Yermak emphasized that Ukraine will defend its position on ending the war under any circumstances.

Also, the Ukrainian side of the meeting was represented by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
