American pop star Katy Perry has publicly confirmed her romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the first time. The singer shared a series of photos on social media showing her and the politician during their trip to Japan.
In the images, the couple is seen spending time together at a restaurant, a museum, and taking selfies. The post quickly gathered over 340,000 likes, with comments focusing on Trudeau's presence and the evident closeness between him and Perry.

Currently, Katy Perry is on her Lifetimes world tour, and as seen in the posts, she is accompanied by a special guest. At the same time, during his stay in Japan, Justin Trudeau held an official meeting with former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, which Perry also attended. A few months later, they were spotted in Paris after Perry's concert, leaving the Crazy Horse cabaret. In November, paparazzi caught the couple again while vacationing on a luxury yacht.
For reference, Justin Trudeau divorced Sophie Grégoire in 2023; the couple has three children. Katy Perry announced her split from actor Orlando Bloom in July last year; they share a daughter, Daisy.
