Karol Nawrocki announced a meeting with Zelenskyy in Kyiv

Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced plans to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, according to Nawrocki’s statement during a Wednesday briefing in New York.
When asked by journalists about the possibility of a meeting with the Ukrainian president, Nawrocki said such a visit to Kyiv was entirely possible and part of his intensive schedule of international talks.
He noted that he was finishing his first month of meetings across Europe and the world, and meeting President Zelenskyy was a natural step in this diplomatic activity.
Brief talk at UN General Assembly
Nawrocki also shared that he had already spoken briefly with Zelenskyy during the UN General Assembly in New York. According to him, it was a short exchange of courtesies, where both leaders acknowledged the challenges faced by Poland and Central Europe, as well as those confronting Ukraine.
