Kardashian, Boris Johnson, and a 27-story mansion: Ambani's wedding of century in India

On July 12, India commenced a three-day celebration for the "wedding of the century": Radhika Merchant, daughter of one of India's wealthiest individuals, is marrying Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia.

Wedding program and star-studded guests
Details of the official part of the event remain secret. The wedding ceremony started on Friday, July 12, and will continue until Monday.
Among the invited guests are Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former US First Lady Hillary Clinton, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, David and Victoria Beckham, reality show stars Kim and Khloé Kardashian, and Bollywood actors.

Indian paparazzi spotted rapper Remi, wrestler John Cena, and Samsung CEO Han Jong-hee near Mumbai airport. The media named singer Adele and rapper Drake as the main stars of the event.
The event will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre and the 27-story Ambani residence, which features three helipads, its own ballroom, and a 50-seat cinema.

Roads around the wedding venue will be closed until Monday. For the convenience of guests, the Ambani family rented three private Falcon-2000 jets.
Pre-wedding parties
The series of pre-wedding events for the Ambani family began in March near Jamnagar, where singer Rihanna performed for a fee of about $8 million.
The second part of the wedding took place on a Mediterranean cruise ship in June. This time, the performers included the Backstreet Boys, DJ David Guetta, Pitbull, and Katy Perry.
At the family dance battle known as Sangeet, Justin Bieber performed. According to media reports, he was paid $10 million for an hour-long performance.
Mukesh Ambani, the owner of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group conglomerate, ranks first in Asia and 11th on Forbes' list of the world's richest people, with a fortune estimated at $123.7 billion.
His son is a board member of Reliance. Anant’s fiancée, 29-year-old Radhika Merchant, is the daughter of one of India’s billionaires, the head of pharmaceutical company Encore Healthcare.
