Jay-Z issues statement after rape allegations: What is he demanding
Beyoncé's husband, rapper Jay-Z, was recently accused of raping a 13-year-old child. He has now spoken out and outlined his demands regarding the situation in which he finds himself, informs Sky News.
What Jay-Z says
The artist specifically requested the accuser’s identity be revealed or for the case to be dismissed, which also involves the controversial Diddy.
The rape lawsuit was filed by a woman who identified herself as Jane Doe, a legal term in the US indicating that she wants to remain anonymous. According to the accuser, in 2000, when she was 13, she was allegedly raped by Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs after the MTV Music Awards ceremony.
Both artists deny all accusations.

Jay-Z's statement following rape allegations
Jay-Z's lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated that the "decision to file a lawsuit under the name "Jane Doe" was "inconsistent with a genuine effort to determine the truth or falsity of these allegations as opposed to an effort to procure a quick, extortionate settlement'."
His representative emphasized that the musician respectfully seeks either the dismissal of the allegations or the revelation of the accuser’s identity.
"It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the plaintiff and her counsel to smear [the] defendant's good name in ways that are calculated to feed media coverage and thus inflict maximum public relations damage while the core fact of [the] plaintiff's identity remains wholly hidden from view," the star's lawyer commented on the situation.

This is not the first reaction from Jay-Z. In the past, Jay-Z has also commented on similar accusations. He stated that such a scandal was an attempt at blackmail and a way to force him to settle, but he had no intention of doing so.
"It had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a very public fashion. So no, I will not give you one red penny! These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case," the rapper said in one of his statements.
