'It’s a shame': Trump reacts to India’s strikes on Pakistan

US President Donald Trump criticized the hostilities between India and Pakistan, reports The Guardian.
The head of the White House was asked about Indian missile strikes on territory controlled by Pakistan.
"It’s a shame. We just heard about it," he told journalists.
Trump said that "people knew something was going to happen based on the past" because both sides have been fighting "for many, many decades and centuries."
"I just hope it ends very quickly," Trump added.
