The terrorist was eliminated by an airstrike targeting the Sidon area in Lebanon, located approximately 60 kilometers from the border between the two countries.

Strikes on Hezbollah positions

The Israeli army also struck terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Ayta ash-Shab, Mehabib, Markaba, and Kfarkela.

On Friday, Hezbollah militants launched rockets into Israeli territory. The IDF artillery responded with strikes on the Lebanese area of Meiss Ej Jabal.

Assassination of Hamas leader

On July 31 in Tehran, Ismail Haniyeh, a political leader of the Hamas organization, was killed. Militants accused Israeli intelligence services of the assassination.

Israel informed the US that it was indeed responsible for the killing.

Initially, Iranian authorities announced plans to launch a large-scale attack on Israel. However, Tehran later indicated that such a decision might be reconsidered.
