An Israeli official reported that Israel is reviewing a letter from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, which calls on Tel Aviv to improve the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, according to The Guardian.
"Israel takes this matter seriously and intends to address the concerns raised in this letter with our American counterparts," the unnamed official said.
The United States has demanded that Israel take steps to improve the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip within the next month or face restrictions on military aid.
French President Emmanuel Macron urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to ignore the UN decision, noting that Israel was created by a UN decision.
