Israel destroys 2000 Hezbollah targets and 440 members
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed 440 Hezbollah members. Also, as of now, 2000 targets of the military group have been destroyed, reports IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari.
According to him, Israeli soldiers continue to operate in Lebanon, and two divisions are maneuvering in urban and other areas. In particular, they are collecting a lot of information and taking away a lot of weapons from Hezbollah.
Hagari also said that Israeli forces recently raided a command and control center belonging to Hezbollah and completely destroyed it. He added that the IDF is pushing the Lebanese group to the north.
An Israeli army spokesperson suggested that Hamas might carry out another attack on the anniversary of the October 7 attacks.
“We assume that on the anniversary they will try to carry out terrorist attacks against the Home Front Command,” he said.
Hagari added that Israel's response to Iran's missile attack “will be given at a time that Israel recognizes as the best.”
“We will respond in the way we decide, at the time, and in the way we decide,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu recorded an address on the conflict in the Middle East and said that Israel had changed the course of the war.
The statement says that a month ago he promised to “change the balance of power in northern Israel” and “since then we have been doing it.”
“A month ago, when we almost finished the defeat of Hamas in Gaza, we fulfilled our promise to the people of the north and killed Nasrallah and all Hezbollah commanders. We managed to destroy a system of rockets and missiles that Hamas had been developing for many years. Our soldiers are now also destroying tunnels that were developed by Hezbollah. Although we are not yet finished eliminating these threats, we have clearly changed the course of the war and its balance,” he said.
