According to El Pais, the founder of Mango, Isak Andic, died in an accident in the mountains. He was the richest man in Catalonia.

The media outlet says that 71-year-old Andic loved mountains and hiking and was in good shape. This morning, the man was spending the day with his family, but at some point during the hike, he slipped and fell from a height of more than 100 meters.

According to the newspaper's police sources, the accident occurred “in a hard-to-reach place.”

The emergency medical system sent a medical helicopter and an ambulance. However, upon arriving at the scene, doctors could only confirm that the man had died.

According to Mossos d'Esquadra, Andic had traveled to the area with several members of his family, although at the time of the accident, he was accompanied by his only son Jonathan, who was interviewed by police as part of an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.

“It is with deep regret that we announce the unexpected death of Isak Andic, our non-executive Chairman and founder of Mango, in an accident that occurred this Saturday.” the company wrote on its official website.

The Spanish brand Mango was one of the first foreign brands to stop its business in Russia. The company left Russia in June 2022.
