President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula remains absolutely relevant, as it outlines Ukraine's strategy for achieving peace, Andriy Yermak, Head of Ukraine's Presidential Office, says in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

According to Yermak, the Peace Formula lays out everything necessary to end the full-scale war. The document sets the goal; the question is how to achieve that goal.

"The war has been going on for 11 years. Can the documents signed under other Presidents be called ones that fully reflect the interests of our country? No. For example, based on one simple reason: why is there nothing about Crimea in them?" the Head of Ukraine's Presidential Office explained.

Yermak also added that the Peace Formula is Ukraine’s strategy, while what is happening today is tactics. The Head of the Presidential Office reminded that only recently, during the summit in Bürgenstock, Ukraine insisted on a full ceasefire in the energy sector. In addition, the track concerning the exchange of prisoners of war, the return of civilians, including children, is important for Kyiv. In this regard, there is no difference between Ukraine's position today and that of two years ago.

Despite the Peace Formula being adapted to current realities, Ukraine, as Yermak noted, still maintains its strategic goal.

"I believe that President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula outlines the complete strategy and everything that must be done to end the war.

So it remains relevant, absolutely relevant. But the reality is that it's a long path. It has to start somewhere, and today it's absolutely clear that it must begin with a ceasefire," the Head of Ukraine's Presidential Office stated.

Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula

This is an initiative introduced by Zelenskyy at the end of 2022, consisting of 10 points. It involves the full restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, the withdrawal of Russian troops, the return of control over the borders, the release of all prisoners and deportees, security guarantees, and accountability for war crimes.

It also includes issues such as energy and nuclear security, food stability, and the prevention of future escalations.
