US President Donald Trump underwent his annual medical examination. Doctors assessed his state of health and revealed whether he is capable of being the American leader, the Bloomberg correspondent Josh Wingrove reports on X.

In particular, the Presidential physician Captain Sean P. Barbabella stated that on April 11, 2025, President Donald Trump underwent his annual medical examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

"I performed and supervised the comprehensive exam, which included diagnostic and laboratory testing, as well as consultations with fourteen specialty consultants, all in accordance with the recommendations of the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF)," the doctor stated.

Barbabella noted that the president consented to the release of the medical examination results.

The medical report details Trump's vital signs, such as age, height, weight, temperature, pulse, and resting blood pressure. It also describes the results of the physical examination and diagnostic procedures performed.

According to the examination, the presidential physician issued a verdict regarding Trump's state of health. According to Barbabella, President Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical condition.

The doctor noted that the president's days include participation in numerous meetings, public speeches, communication with the press, and frequent victories in golf competitions and that this active lifestyle significantly contributes to his well-being.

"President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State," the presidential physician emphasized.

What illnesses Trump has

According to the US President's medical record, Trump has:

  • well-controlled hypercholesterolemia,
  • seasonal allergies,
  • history of COVID-19 infection,
  • rosacea,
  • actinic keratosis,
  • benign nevi,
  • diverticulosis,
  • benign colon polyp.

The doctor also reported that throughout his life, Trump has refrained from the use of tobacco and alcohol.
