Irish Prime Minister visits Ukraine, meets with Zelenskyy
According to the Telegram channel of Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, Leo Varadkar, the Prime Minister of Ireland, has arrived in Ukraine on an official visit. He has already visited the town of Bucha, which was affected by Russian crimes, and met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During his visit to Bucha, Attorney General Andriy Kostin informed the Irish Prime Minister about Russian crimes and mass killings of civilians during the occupation of the town.
"He noted that the systematic nature of these crimes indicates that the aggressor targets Ukrainians based on their national identity and pro-Ukrainian stance. Similar cases have been documented in other liberated cities," the press service writes.
In particular, the Irish Prime Minister also met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the latter, the parties will hold negotiations today, covering the following topics:
- Security
- Political cooperation
- Justice for Ukraine
- Economic cooperation between the countries
"Although Ireland is a neutral country, this neutrality does not mean indifference, and this is very important. Thank you for all your support," the President wrote.
