Today, May 19, a helicopter with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on board made a rough landing, reports Reuters.

According to initial reports, the helicopter carrying the Iranian president made a rough landing. Currently, all rescue services are heading to the scene.

The Iranian media provided conflicting reports about the incident, but there is no official confirmation yet.

In addition to the president, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was on board the helicopter.

Preliminarily, there is a possibility that there are no fatalities on board. One of the passengers on the presidential flight has already got in touch.

According to the Iranian newspaper Tasnim, rescuers are currently on their way to the scene in the mountainous area, but the situation is complicated by fog.

Earlier this year, former Chilean President Sebastian Piñera died in a plane crash.

Earlier, it was reported that a plane crashed into a car in Belgium. Two German citizens were killed in the crash.
