Iran has a strategic plan to destroy Israel, foreign ministry says

Israel's Foreign Ministry has sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) stating that Iran has a "strategic plan" to destroy Israel, says Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar.
In the letter, Sa'ar emphasized that Israel is determined to defend itself.
"Iran has a strategic plan to eliminate Israel. Israel cannot and will not accept the threat of extermination!" wrote the minister.

On June 13, the Israeli Air Force attacked Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure. During the attack, dozens of high-ranking Iranian officers and specialists working on Tehran's nuclear capabilities were eliminated.
Since then, the two countries have exchanged daily strikes. Meanwhile, Western media report that US President Donald Trump is rather sceptical whether Washington should intervene in the Israel-Iran conflict.
