iPhone SE 4 threatens mid-range Android smartphones with unique feature
Apple is preparing to release the iPhone SE 4, which is expected to be a serious competitor to mid-range Android smartphones. According to rumors, the device will feature support for Apple Intelligence – a unique set of AI tools that were previously only available on flagship models, reports the online edition Android Authority, which covers the world of Android and technology.
Last year, Apple Intelligence was made available exclusively on the company's flagship devices, including integration with ChatGPT, Genmoji, Writing Tools, and other features. This left most iOS users without access to these functionalities, as they require the iPhone 16 or 15 Pro.
According to a Bloomberg report, the new iPhone SE 4 will be the first device in its series to support Apple Intelligence. It is expected to be equipped with an A17 Pro or A18 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and offer features such as image generation, ChatGPT integration with Siri, and enhanced tools for working with text and photos.
Additionally, hardware updates are forecasted, including an OLED display, Face ID support, a 48-megapixel camera, and a new body design.
The introduction of Apple Intelligence and all these improvements could raise the price of the device, but it is likely to remain under $500. Apple has already reported a decrease in iPhone SE 3 stock, indicating a potential launch of the iPhone SE 4 soon, possibly in March.
For users seeking AI features, this could become the best option in its price range, especially considering the limited choices available among Android devices in this category.
