Reports have emerged online about the use of drones by Russia carrying a chemical substance that causes burns. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak, has commented on this information on Telegram.

He noted that information has surfaced online suggesting that the enemy is using drones equipped with a chemical substance that causes burns upon contact with skin.

"Please, no panic! There have been no such cases in our region. This is officially confirmed by the regional health department," Lysak stated.

He also reminded residents of safety protocols. People in the Dnipropetrovsk region are urged not to touch suspicious objects and to immediately contact emergency services.

Recently, the operational-tactical group "Kharkiv" reported on social media that Russian occupiers have started treating drones with an unknown substance that causes chemical burns upon tactile contact.

Military personnel urged individuals not to handle captured drones without protective gear.

Use of chemical weapons by Russia

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian occupiers may have used chemical weapons in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region.
