In Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district, burst water pipeline flooded street, leaving 2 buildings without water
In the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital, cold water leaked onto the roadway. Municipal services are eliminating flooding, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.
In the evening, residents of the Sviatoshynskyi district called the dispatch center to report the damage.
"The report of the damage was received by the Kyivvodokanal dispatch center on January 7 at 22:55. An emergency team arrived at the scene, shut off the water, and localized the leak. Two residential buildings were left without water," reported the Kyiv City State Administration channel.
Also, Kyivavtodor specialists are working on-site to eliminate the consequences of the flooding and clean the roadway.
"Currently, specialists from Kyivavtodor are working on-site to eliminate flooding and contamination of the roadway and to allow the emergency team from Kyivvodokanal to start repairing the water supply. Considering the emergency situation and challenging weather conditions, road workers are providing additional treatment to the street to ensure safe traffic," the administration reported.
The authorities claim that there has been a leak of cold water.
"Emphasizing that there has been a leak of specifically cold water. We urge media and bloggers not to manipulate and not to spread false information, getting involved in dirty attacks on the city authorities and communal services, which, under current conditions, are doing everything to ensure the vital functions of the capital," - stated on the channel.
