In Kherson, Russia shells car with infant onboard, resulting in casualties
In the suburbs of Kherson, Russian terrorists fired at a car with civilians, where the infant was. The car caught fire, the baby's grandfather died, and her mother is in serious condition, reports the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.
"At noon, the Russians in the suburbs of Kherson fired artillery at the car in which the baby girl and her relatives were returning from a medical examination," he says.
According to Klymenko, the car caught fire as a result of the impact.
"The 36-year-old mother is in a serious condition in the hospital. The man who was driving has died. It is probably the child's 64-year-old grandfather. The identity will be determined by an expert examination, as the body was burned to the ground," the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs says.
A two-month-old baby was taken to the Khersonsk hospital by the police to the sounds of a special alarm. Previously, the girl was diagnosed with a mine-explosive head injury.
"The condition is of moderate severity. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance and are fighting for her mother's life," adds the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
