In Kherson region, Russian forces damage gas pipeline and power lines

In the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out more than 260 attacks on Ukrainian defensive positions, using around 1,100 ammunition units. Nearly 30 settlements near the front line came under fire.
This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces.
As a result of artillery shelling in the Kherson region, three civilians were injured. Private homes, outbuildings, garages, and an administrative building were damaged, along with private vehicles, a gas pipeline, and power lines.
Additionally, overnight, Russian forces attacked from the southern direction using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Around 15 drones entered the operational area, some of which were intercepted by Southern Air Defense units.
Drone strikes and falling debris caused damage to buildings on private properties and farms in the Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Attacks on October 19
Earlier that night, Russian drones targeted the city of Shakhtarsk in Dnipropetrovsk region. Ten people were injured, residential buildings and vehicles were destroyed, and large-scale fires broke out.
According to the Air Force, Russian forces launched 62 attack drones across Ukraine overnight, most of which were successfully intercepted.
