If Republicans not provide aid to Ukraine, they will have lot to pay for
If the Republicans do not allocate military aid to Ukraine, they will have a lot to pay for, stated Joe Biden, the President of the United States.
"Well, if my Republican colleagues don’t fund Ukraine, they’re going to have an awful lot to pay for," he said.
U.S. aid to Ukraine
A few months ago, U.S. President Joe Biden asked Congress to allocate more than $100 billion for national security needs. The package included more than $60 billion in new funding to help Ukraine.
Republicans in Congress refused to support such an initiative. They demand that the package include stricter measures to secure the border with Mexico.
Thus, for more than a month now, Congress has been trying to agree on such measures to approve the package.
On January 12, it became known that U.S. aid to Ukraine had been suspended until Congress approved new funding.
