IDF and Border Police eliminated a group of wanted terrorists during a counterterrorism operation in the West Bank, according to the Telegram channel of the Israeli Defense Forces.
The military continues its counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria, according to reports.
During the operation, over 10 terrorists were neutralized, around 20 wanted suspects were detained, and additional weapons were confiscated.
Additionally, the Israeli Air Force carried out an airstrike targeting a vehicle carrying a terrorist cell in the vicinity of the city of Qabatiya.
Israel-Hamas peace agreement
Israel and the Hamas group reached a ceasefire agreement on January 16 after prolonged negotiations, which included a mutual exchange of hostages captured during the militants' invasion from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
On January 19, the terrorists released the first three female hostages, while Israeli forces freed 90 Palestinian prisoners.
Hamas plans to release four more Israeli hostages.
On January 21, Israeli forces announced the launch of a counterterrorism operation in the West Bank.
