The Israeli army carried out strikes on targets at the Syrian airbases Palmyra and Tiyas (T4), the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reports.

In particular, the military struck the "remnants of military potential" at the Palmyra and Tiyas (T-4) airbases in Syria, a few days after similar strikes were carried out on these same airfields.

"The IDF will continue to act in order to remove any threat posed to the citizens of the State of Israel," the statement says.

Earlier, on March 21, Israeli aviation struck military-strategic targets at the Syrian military bases Tadmur and Tiyas (T4).

Israel resumed shelling of Syria's airbases and military facilities after the removal of Bashar al-Assad's regime. This is necessary to prevent deployed weapons from falling into the hands of "hostile forces" and to ensure they do not attack Israel.
