On Saturday, June 21, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) attacked an Iranian missile factory 2,000 kilometers from Israeli territory. And on June 22, an Iranian missile depot 2,200 kilometers away came under Israeli attack.

Thus, according to the IDF, yesterday Israeli fighter jets, guided by accurate intelligence information, struck a facility for the production of engines for surface-to-surface missiles of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Shahrud region of Iran, about 2000 km from Israeli territory.

"The site was struck for its planetary mixers and critical machinery used in the production of engines for missiles launched by the Iranian regime toward the State of Israel," the IDF said.

And today, as reported by the IDF, Israeli troops for the first time struck a surface-to-surface missile depot in the Yazd area, about 2,200 kilometers from Israel.

"The site that was struck is part of the effort to damage the Iranian regime’s surface-to-surface missile production industry," the IDF emphasized.

Israel's strikes on Iran

Israel and Iran have been in a long-standing conflict, which escalated after Hamas militants attacked Israeli settlements in October 2023. Following the attack, Israel launched a large-scale military campaign in the Gaza Strip, and Iran supported the militants and later attacked Israel with missiles and drones.

A new wave of escalation erupted last week when Israel announced Operation Lion's Nation and launched strikes on Iran's military, energy, and nuclear facilities.

And on the night of June 22, the United States joined Israel in attacking 3 key Iranian nuclear facilities that the Israeli army was unable to destroy. Washington assures us that this is not a declaration of war against Iran, but the destruction of its nuclear program to force Tehran to peace and negotiations with the United States.
