Ukrainian designer Andre Tan has revealed the key fashion styles for summer 2025. According to the fashion expert, this season is all about freedom, sparkle, and bold combinations of pieces that until recently seemed incompatible.
Last summer, Tan says, tennis core dominated the fashion scene.
This trend draws inspiration from the aesthetics of tennis and everything associated with it: crisp white uniforms, pleated miniskirts, polo shirts, sneakers, sporty socks, and clean sweaters.
Main features of tennis core trend:
- Classic tennis skirts: short, pleated, often white or pastel
- Polo shirts and knit sweaters: nods to traditional tennis attire
- White color palette with pastel, green, or blue accents; all colors are clean
- Sporty accessories: visors, headbands, ankle or crew socks, sneakers
- A hint of retro and aristocratic charm: reminiscent of country clubs and the sports elite

This year, Tan encourages fashion lovers to embrace styles that might seem strange at first glance.
Ibiza Girl
Key elements: Mini skirts, sequins, and oversized floral prints.
Add large woven bags, chunky jewelry, and bright accents to complete the look.
"This summer is all about freedom, shine, and bold elements. The key is not to be afraid to sparkle!" says the designer.

Fisherman's Daughter
Key elements: Rubber boots, "grandpa shirts," oversized sweaters, short shorts, and clashing combinations.
Mix oversized knits with mini shorts and pieces made from natural fabrics.
"All these details add creativity to a look that's perfect for outdoor walks or summer festivals," Tan notes.

Housewife Aesthetic
Key elements: Linen, pastel shades, and wooden accessories.
The Martha Stewart aesthetic is making a comeback for Gen Z. Her '90s and 2000s style—minimalist lines, pastel tones, linen dresses, and woven bags—is back in vogue.
"The trend of wooden beads and airy shirt dresses creates a peaceful feeling that's perfect for summer," the designer emphasizes.

Medieval Queen
Key elements: Corsets, pearl jewelry, chains, and light dresses.
This summer, corsets, chains, and pearls are returning. The style draws inspiration from the elegance of noblewomen and knights of the Middle Ages.
"We're adding this chic vibe to modern wardrobes through light dresses, pearl accents, and nods to the age of chivalry," Tan concludes.
