Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his desire to reduce the composition of the country's government and highlighted a shortage of funds for its maintenance at a press conference on December 19 in Kyiv.
"I want to shrink this government; I don't have the funds to maintain it," stated the head of state.
Zelenskyy also emphasized the need to allocate funds for a mobilization campaign and specified that he has been "asked for 500 billion" for this purpose.
"But I can't completely dismiss everyone - someone has to work," he emphasized.
