Ukrainian Armed Forces' foothold in Kherson's left bank analyzed
The head of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, listed the Ukrainian military's primary objectives on the left bank of the Kherson region. This information was presented by Natalia Humeniuk during a telethon.
Natalia Humeniuk stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently consolidating their position on the left bank, and this operation is expected to last for several days or even weeks. Gumenyuk affirmed that their efforts will continue until the situation stabilizes.
She emphasized that their primary objective is to facilitate the well-being of residents on the right bank and the coastal areas of the left bank, which are susceptible to attacks.
The head of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine stated that the enemy's mortar units no longer reached the right bank, marking a significant achievement.
However, she noted that the enemy retains the capability to deploy reserves. The spokesperson reported that tens of thousands of Russian troops have been observed on the left bank, but no strike groups have been identified.
Operation on the left bank of the Kherson region
On November 17, the Ukrainian military announced a successful series of operations on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. The Armed Forces secured several strategic footholds to push the Russian occupiers away from the right bank of the Dnipro, ultimately reducing the shelling of civilians.
Natalia Humeniuk stressed that the work on the left bank persists despite adverse weather conditions.
