How often should you visit cosmetologist at 20 and 40 years old to maintain youth

Regular visits to a cosmetologist help slow down the skin aging process by 5-7 years. But how often should you visit a specialist to achieve this result?
At what age should you visit a cosmetologist
According to cosmetologist Daria Tishchenko, the frequency of visits to a cosmetologist depends primarily on age and the condition of the skin.
At the age of 20-30, the skin is usually firm and recovers quickly. It is recommended to visit a cosmetologist once every 4-6 weeks to maintain good skin condition and prevent aging.
After 30-40 years, the cell renewal process slows down, so skincare should be more intensive and focused on stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. The optimal visit frequency is every 4 weeks.
It is important that, in the case of skin conditions, the visit schedule will be individualized, depending on the problem and treatment plan.
Frequency of procedures
The expert also listed popular procedures and how often they should be performed:
- Peels and skincare treatments: once every 4-6 weeks to maintain clean pores and prevent breakouts.
- Hardware skin care procedures: once every 4 weeks to keep the skin glowing and pores clear.
- Botulinum therapy: once every 3-6 months to correct facial wrinkles.
- Plasmotherapy: once every 3-4 weeks in a course of 5-8 treatments.
When can Botox be first used
Botox is one of the methods of facial rejuvenation, helping to combat wrinkles and signs of aging. However, after the age of 25, some women start to notice signs of aging.
This is especially true for those who smoke, spend a lot of time in the sun, have fair skin, a very expressive face, often frown, or have a genetic predisposition to wrinkles.
