How many oil refineries in Russia were attacked since beginning of 2025: Media tally

The number of incidents involving attacks on oil refineries, oil depots, and similar facilities in Russia continues to rise and gain momentum. Since the beginning of this year, oil facilities in ten regions of Russia have been targeted, according to Astra.
Russian media has learned that last Friday night, a drone strike was carried out on the Yuttek oil depot located in the Belgorod region.
"Drones attacked the territory of the Yuttek oil depot in the Prokhorivka settlement district on the night of February 14," sources told Astra.
According to the Russian edition, there were no reported damages or casualties as a result of the drone attack.
Astra also reminded that this oil depot had been previously attacked in May 2024, causing damage to a gasoline tank.
According to Russian media, taking into account the recent UAV attack on the Yuttek oil depot last week, at least 16 oil facilities have been attacked in Russia during January and the first part of February this year. These attacks include:
- The UAV strike on the Yuttek oil depot in the Belgorod region.
- A strike on the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station in Kropotkin, Krasnodar Krai.
- Two attacks on the oil pumping station Andreapol in the Tver region.
- A strike on the Sibur-Kstovo petrochemical plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
- An attack on the Rosneft oil depot in the Smolensk region.
- Two drone strikes on the Lukoil oil refinery in Volgograd.
- An attack on the oil refinery First Plant in the Kaluga region.
- UAV strikes on the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai.
- An attack on the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai.
- A strike on the Sloviansk oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai.
- A drone attack on the local oil refinery in Saratov.
- A strike on the oil pumping station of Transneft-Privolga in the Rostov region.
- A drone attack on the Andreyanovsky oil product distribution station in the Volgograd region.
- An attack on the Kamensky oil depot in the Rostov region.
- A UAV strike on the oil refinery in the Ryazan region.
- A drone attack on the oil refinery in the town of Livny, Oryol region.
Strikes on Russia's oil facilities
Yesterday, sources from RBC-Ukraine in the Security Service of Ukraine revealed that on the night of February 17, UAVs from the SSU and Special Operations Forces attacked two key enterprises in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia. These were the Ilsky oil refinery (NPP) and the Kropotkinskaya Oil Pumping Station.
Additionally, yesterday, Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, explained the strategic importance of the Ilsky oil refinery to the enemy.
Moreover, on February 17, it became known that the largest oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Kropotkinskaya, was rendered inoperable following a drone strike.
