'Horrifying missile attack on Sumy': What US Secretary of State says about Russian strike

Double missile strike on Sumy
Today, April 13, on Palm Sunday, Russian forces carried out a double missile strike on the center of the city of Sumy, using ballistic missiles with cluster munitions.
The attack occurred at a time when the streets were filled with people, leading to significant civilian casualties.
According to the latest data, at least 34 people were killed, including children, and the number of injured has already exceeded 115 people, including 11 children. The highest number of casualties was in a trolleybus that was passing by the site of the explosion.
Due to the strike, residential and non-residential buildings were damaged, including the local university, and vehicles were destroyed.
Local authorities and emergency services continue to respond to the aftermath of the attack and provide assistance to the victims.
