Hezbollah fires dozens of rockets at northern Israel: The Times of Israel
Hezbollah launched a massive rocket attack on northern Israel from Lebanese territory, reports The Times of Israel.
According to the article, numerous interceptions by the Iron Dome were recorded over the Galilee Panhandle. Air raid sirens sounded in the city of Kiryat Shmona and several nearby settlements.
Some media outlets report that dozens of rockets were fired at northern Israel, while others specify the number, citing a figure of 50.
Earlier, on the evening of August 3, the IDF announced that it had struck Hezbollah targets in the Kfarkela area in southern Lebanon. The strikes included hits on infrastructure and military facilities.
"Earlier, an Israeli aircraft eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in the Deir Siriane area. Additionally, IDF artillery struck terrorist infrastructure in the vicinity of Odaisseh," the IDF reported.
It is worth noting that, according to Sky News Arabia sources in Western intelligence, Iran plans to attack Israel on August 12-13. These dates coincide with the Jewish day of mourning this year.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, the United States and the United Kingdom urged their citizens to avoid travel to Lebanon. Those already in the country were advised to leave.
Notably, Ukraine was one of the first countries in the world to successfully evacuate its citizens from Lebanon. It is currently known that 30 people have been evacuated to Poland, including 21 women and 9 children.
