Hezbollah drone could attack Israeli Prime Minister's residence: Media
Hezbollah could have attacked the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Prime Minister was not harmed, according to the Sky News Arabia.
Israeli media reported on Saturday, October 19, that explosions occurred in Caesarea, Haifa, and Carmel. It is known that three Hezbollah drones violated Israeli airspace.
In Caesarea, a building was hit, but there were no casualties. Police forces have been deployed to the scene of the attack.
Sources indicated that the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, was targeted. Netanyahu's office declined to disclose the Prime Minister's location. However, his representatives stated that at the time of the strike, Netanyahu and his wife were not at the residence in Caesarea.
Conflict in the Middle East
Recall that on October 1, Iran launched a massive missile strike against Israel, firing over 180 ballistic missiles.
Iran stated that the attack was in response to the deaths of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders. Israel, in turn, vowed to retaliate.
Media reports indicated that Tel Aviv could potentially target nuclear facilities in Iran; however, Israel dismissed such a possibility.
