'He's too good': Usyk and Fury's sparring partner predicts upcoming fight
Contender for one of the heavyweight championship belts, Martin Bakole, has shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout between Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk and Britain's Tyson Fury for the title of undisputed world champion, as he has sparred with both heavyweight fighters, according to Boxing Social.
The 30-year-old African fighter made a prediction for the showdown between the star boxers, with the WBC International titleholder favoring The Gypsy King.
"I think Tyson is too good. He’s got everything that can stop Usyk, points or knockout. I think Tyson will win. I don’t think Usyk will win the fight. Tyson is moving, he’s not like Joshua, he’s got everything, he’s got movement, his fitness is fantastic," Bakole explained.
The Congolese boxer will appear on the undercard of Fury's fight against former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou on October 28. Bakole will face 42-year-old Frenchman of Cameroonian descent, Carlos Takam. In April, Bakole defeated Ukrainian Shevadzutsky.
Previously, promoter Bob Arum disclosed the situation regarding the fight purse. Fury and Usyk won't be sharing the fee since each of them negotiated their prize money separately. The specific earnings of the heavyweight fighters will not be disclosed by the intermediary.
