The Palestinian group Hamas has published a list of 20 living hostages it plans to release as part of a deal with Israel, according to The Times of Israel and CNN.

Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, released the names of 20 Israeli hostages who are expected to be freed soon.

The list includes individuals whose names had already been submitted to Israel earlier during negotiations and were confirmed for release under the agreement.

According to Israeli media, the first hostages Hamas will release from the northern part of the Gaza Strip are Matan Angrest, brothers Gali and Ziv Berman, Alon Ohel, Eitan Mor, and Omri Miran.

The remaining 14 living hostages will be released later from various areas across Gaza.

The families of the six identified individuals have already been notified.

Trump’s Gaza Strip plan

Donald Trump’s peace plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, unveiled last week, consists of 20 points and envisions the creation of an International Peace Council to oversee a Palestinian committee responsible for the enclave’s day-to-day governance.

Since October 6, indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas have been taking place in Egypt, with Egypt, the US, and Qatar acting as mediators.

On October 9, Trump announced that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas to implement the first phase of his peace plan.

Under the deal, the Israeli army will reposition its forces to new locations within the Gaza Strip while maintaining control over roughly 53% of the enclave’s territory. Following that, Hamas is expected to release all 48 Israeli hostages within three days.

Today, October 13, Egypt will host the Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, dedicated to resolving the Middle East crisis and achieving lasting peace in the region. The summit will bring together leaders from more than 20 countries.
