GTA VI opens pre-orders with pricey Ultimate Edition surprise

Grand Theft Auto VI will go on sale on November 19, while pre-orders for the game will begin on June 25 at midnight, according to the developers’ official website.
The version of the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XS will cost $79.99.
Meanwhile, for players who want additional content from day one of release, the developers have prepared an expanded Ultimate Edition priced at $99.99.
In addition to digital copies, physical editions of the game will also go on sale on November 12, which will include a download code.
What does the Ultimate Edition offer and what are the limitations of the base version?
The Ultimate Edition will offer users a significant amount of additional content, integrated into both the story campaign featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia, as well as the online mode.
A notable feature of this release is that some standard gameplay elements will be exclusive to the more expensive version.
In particular, full vehicle customization, as well as access to all tattoo parlors and barber shops in the game, will be available by default only to Ultimate Edition buyers.
The Ultimate Edition will include:
- An exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and clothing for the story mode.
- Additional in-game activities and random events.
- A starter pack for the online mode, including in-game currency, as well as unique cars, clothing, and weapons.
Pre-order bonuses and important dates
Gamers who pre-order or purchase any edition of the game before November 20 will receive the digital Vintage Vice City Pack.
This pack pays tribute to the iconic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and includes a vintage 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan, an additional garage located near the Ocean Beach area, luxury outfit and hairstyle options for both main characters, as well as an exclusive weapon pattern.
An additional bonus for early buyers is one month of free subscription to the GTA+ service.
Rockstar Games has also ensured the option for pre-installation, allowing players to start the game within the first minutes after its official release.
Digital pre-load on consoles begins on November 12, exactly one week before the official launch on November 19.
