A Google exec strongly recommends Android users try the new Gemini Live AI features – an updated version of the Google virtual assistant. This technology enables "natural, free-flowing conversation" using the smartphone's microphone and speakers, The Sun reports.

Users can interrupt the assistant, adjust requests on the go, and even incorporate real-world scenarios, such as choosing outfits or preparing for a public speaking event.
Senior Google exec Serge LaChapelle explained how this system helps manage everyday stresses, like "Sunday Scaries" before the start of the workweek. He noted that Gemini Live can guide users through breathing exercises or provide emotional support in challenging situations.
In addition, the tool can assist with preparing presentations, brainstorming, studying materials, or even helping visually impaired individuals understand YouTube content.

Requirements for Google Gemini Live
- An Android phone or tablet;
- The Gemini app or Gemini assistant installed on the device;
- Currently, Gemini Live is unavailable in the Gemini web app, Google Messages, or the Gemini tab in the Google app on iPhone;
- A personal Google account that you manage yourself. Gemini Live doesn't currently work with corporate or school Google accounts;
- A supported language set as the primary in the device's settings;
- Users must be 18 years or older.
